Martha Hayworth, founder of Strategies for Excellence, has helped entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals to develop a roadmap for personal career satisfaction, advancement and growth, improve leadership and communication skills, and achieve business goals.   

Martha has over 15 years of combined corporate experience in the areas of consulting, coaching, and sales/business development.  She has consulted, advised, and collaborated with client companies of all sizes from small startups to Fortune 500 companies.  Prior to starting Strategies for Excellence, Ms. Hayworth worked in management positions at National Liberty Corporation and IMS Health, a former division of Dun & Bradstreet.

Community Involvement

To encourage and support professional advancement of young women, Ms. Hayworth founded the Hayworth Seva Scholarship Program at Guilford College in 1993.  Recipients are required to work with a mentor and serve their community through volunteer activities.

Martha has developed seminars for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs including “Professionals in Transition” and “Women in Business Leadership.”  Martha has also designed and delivered “Career Planning for Young Women” at San Diego State University, a seminar focused on women launching their careers.
